
The Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University is holding its anticipated conference titled “Partnership with the Business Sector for Employment… An Executive Strategic Document,” on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at nine in the morning.
The conference is held under the patronage of Professor Dr. Hussein Issa, Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Qansouh, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and Professor Dr. Mohamed Diaa Zain Al-Abidin, President of Ain Shams University, and coordinated by Professor Dr. Farid Muharram, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, and Professor Dr. Jihan Raghb, Dean’s Advisor for Community Service and Environmental Development.
The conference aims to formulate a future vision linking academic curricula with the actual needs of the labor market. The discussion revolves around five main axes, which are
1. Developing academic programs and updating the curricula of commerce colleges and integrating technological skills.
2. The needs of the economic sector and analyzing future job skills and the challenges of graduate employment.
3. Strategic partnership and building successful models of collaboration between universities and companies and economic institutions.
4. Qualifying graduates, entrepreneurship, developing soft skills, and supporting the culture of freelance work.
5. Digital transformation and the labor market, clarifying the impact of financial technology (FinTech) and the digital economy on job creation.
It is worth mentioning that the conference comes as part of the efforts of the Faculty of Commerce at Ain Shams University (which is the first college at the level of government colleges in the global Eduniversal classification for 2026) to enhance its role as a leading educational beacon contributing to national economic development.
