ALBAWABA – In a scene reminiscent of an action movie, several thieves were captured stealing cargo off a speeding truck on a highway in Egypt. A clip of the video flooded social media, sparking debate and prompting an investigation by authorities.
A blue pickup truck carrying several people approached the speeding cargo truck, opened its container, and unloaded the items without the driver noticing.

Reports state that Egypt’s authorities are still investigating the incident in question, adding that the location, time, and the suspects’ identities remain unclear.
A social media user wrote on X (formerly Twitter), debunking users who claimed the video is AI-generated:
“The video is real and not AI, but far from literal theft. The driver of the green truck is the reason for the success of the theft operation, due to his maintaining a very close distance from the other truck during the drive, and his being in the middle of the truck from the back, such that if the driver looked in the rearview mirror, he wouldn’t be able to see them behind him.”
Another jokingly added, “Where are the movie producers at with them? These guys are creative, and they need to leverage their skills in filmmaking and cinematography.”
